Participation Handout

 

Article I     Purpose

                  The Chinese American Foundation for Education (hereinafter referred to as CAFE)

                  was established in 2005. Its mission is to promote health education and lifestyle

                  improvement as well as to encourage benevolent giving and community services.

 

Article II    Nature of Organization                  

                  CAFE is a non-profit organization and has no affiliation with any political or religious

                  party. Its endeavors shall be achieved by conducting health seminars, providing

                  preventive health check-up services, organizing recreational and exercise activities,

                  and educating our members about health and wellness.

   

Article III   Participation
                  Participants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible. CAFE reserves the
                  right to refuse a participant if someone consistently fails to observe the rules and
                  regulations or has behaved in a manner contrary to the best interests of the
                  organization.

Article IV   Registration Fee

                   Annual registration fees shall be $10.00 and shall be payable in advance for the
                   upcoming calendar year which is January 1^st to December 31^st. The fee will not be

                   prorated under any circumstances.

                   3.   All elected officers and the consultants of CAFE shall not receive
                        any monetary compensation. All expense will need to be approved by
                        the committee
                   4.   The handout of CAFE is in compliance with the code of local government and

                        state of California.
